Defeat Depression Campaigns

Defeat Depression Campaigns are arranged at Sahiwal Mian Channu, Muzaffargarh, D.G Khan and Mailsi. Where free mental health camps are held followed by presentation on diagnosis and treatment of depression to the family physicians and primary care physicians of the area which in reality is also continuing mental health education.

Reaching the un reached where there is no Psychiatrist

These camps are held at Sinahwan, Kot Adu, Jampur and Layyah with the cooperation of regional administration. Free mental health camps are conducted which are largely attended by the local community.

To provide further continuing education and awareness of mental health we advise and educate the families of the patients, general practitioners and primary care physicians. We provide basic literature on mental health awareness. Besides, services are provided through E-mail, web site, fax and telephonic help line and postal sources where the electronic media has not yet reached. In the near future tele psychiatry units are being planned to be established at satellite stations at D.G Khan, Rajanpur, Layyah and Vehari in collaboration with the reputed general practitioners of the area connecting to Arrahma hospital as the base hospital, which when completed will transform Arrahma hospital into Arrahma Mental Health Services inshAllah. The project will be named as TPC News Network (Tele psychiatric Clinics North, East, West, and South Network). Its objective is to provide long distance mental health care. OASIS Punjab is functioning satisfactorily.
